KABARET SEASON: PURELY CABARET

Welcome to the cabaret! Fresh from Germany, and before her Eastern-Canada tour, we are proud to have Lindsay Sutherland Boal for this special trip to the seedy, underground cabarets; Karen Lee-Morlang on piano; Terry Costa hosts.
Lindsay Sutherland Boal’s varied repertoire has gained her a reputation as a versatile and engaging singing actor as a guest with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Nova Scotia Symphony, Rainer Hersch Philharmonic, in addition to several recitals with Karen-Lee Morlang in Vancouver at the Silk Purse, Vancouver Public Library and Vancouver Art Gallery.
Some of Lindsay’s operatic credits include Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro/Lyric Opera Studio, Germany), Yum-Yum (The Mikado/Waterford International Festival of Light Opera. Ireland) and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte/ Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canada).
In the next year Lindsay will focus primarily on Kabarett repertoire beginning with her long awaited one woman show “Berlin im Licht” premiering in Ottawa.
